Job Description
A junior graphic designer with branding and web design skills is responsible for creating visually creative graphics, brand materials and websites that meet the client’s requirements. They work closely with creative director, digital marketers, developer’s and project managers to ensure that the final product is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
Responsibilities
•Research and analyze the target audience, market trends, and competition to create designs that appeal to the intended audience.
•Understanding of user experience (ux) and user interface (UI) design principles
•Collaborate with project managers, and other designers to gather information and understand project requirements.
•Develop concepts, design ideas and mood boards
•Create visual elements, such as logos, brand identity, brand guideline and typography, to enhance the overall design.
•Choose appropriate colors, fonts, and layouts that complement the design and convey the intended message.
•Use computer software skills, such as Illustrator, and InDesign, to create and edit designs (UI, UX, Websites etc).
•Produce final designs in various formats, such as digital files, print-ready files, or web-optimized files, depending on the project requirements.
•Review and revise designs as needed, making changes based on feedback and project requirements.
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure that designs remain fresh and competitive.
Skills Required
•Creativity: A graphic designer must have a strong imagination and be able to think outside the box to create unique and appealing designs.
•Artistic ability: A solid understanding of color, form, texture, and composition is essential for creating visually appealing designs.
•Technical skills: Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, is crucial for creating and editing designs. And be able to choose appropriate typefaces for various projects
•Time management: Balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines is essential for a successful graphic designer.
•Problem-solving: A graphic designer must be able to identify and resolve issues that arise during the design process.
