🚤 Compact power for real-world rescue

When missions demand speed, shallow-water access, and frequent beach landings, standard boats often fall short. That’s why the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (Die Seenotretter – DGzRS) teamed up with to develop a custom-built 8.4 m aluminium search and rescue vessel — specifically optimized for the southern Baltic Sea.

Based on the success of the Arctic 8.9m models, this custom model delivers reliable performance in a compact, rugged format designed for everyday rescue operations.

🛠️ What sets it apart?
• Frequent beach landings require a marine-grade aluminium hull, providing excellent abrasion resistance and durability in shallow, rugged environments.
• A foldable targa frame designed to fit the limited height of a historic lifeboat station
• Self-righting capability, a critical feature for rescue missions
• 425 hp diesel + waterjet for speed and agility in both shallow and open-sea conditions.
• Smart use of space - compact on the outside, mission-ready inside.
• 3 units already in service at DGzRS stations across northeastern Germany.

A perfect example of customer-driven and practical coming together to tackle real operational challenges.

“Redders op zee” – a gripping look into sea rescue operations 🌊🚤

In this series, volunteers of the KNRM - Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij (Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution) are followed closely as they launch into life-saving missions—sometimes in the dead of night - navigating storms, danger, and uncertainty to bring people to safety.

🚨 Special mission for special boats

We’re passionate about individual requests and special projects. Commissioned by the for a unique mission, we custom-built the Arctic 4.5 – a rescue vessel tailored for body recovery operations with cadaver .

This compact, high-performance was designed in close collaboration with field experts to support search and recovery operations using specially trained dogs. 🐾

🔍 Highlights:
• Fold-down bow ramp– allows dogs to scent directly on the water’s surface
• Retractable sonar – for precise positioning even in extreme weather conditions
• Built from – durable, low-maintenance and impact-resistant
• Suitable for rescue and recovery, flood response and more

📍 10 boats are now deployed across Finland’s lakes — assisting police and cadaver dogs in body recovery operations.
