We are beyond proud to welcome acclaimed Finnish songwriter Timo Kiiskinen to the NBM/BMG family! ❤️

Timo is the songwriter behind numerous acclaimed songs, including “Palavaa vettä” (Lauri Tähkä), “Kyyneleet sateessa” (BESS), “Sininen sointu” (Samuli Edelmann), “Ainutkertainen” (Sami Saari), as well as lyrics for Pepe & Saimaa, among many others.

Throughout his remarkable career, Timo has received some of Finland’s most prestigious songwriting honors, including the Juha Vainio Lyricist Award and the Kullervo Linna Award. His work has helped shape Finnish pop and adult contemporary music, making him one of the country’s most respected and influential songwriters.

In recent years, Timo has entered an exciting new creative chapter, and we couldn’t be happier to have him join us.

Big news! We’re thrilled to welcome Petri Alanko to the NBM/BMG roster!

Petri is a three-time BAFTA-nominated Finnish composer and producer. He composed the score for Alan Wake, one of Remedy Entertainment’s most acclaimed franchises with over 15 million players worldwide, and returned to score Alan Wake 2 in full, which has sold over 2 million copies.
His catalogue also includes Control and Quantum Break for Remedy Entertainment, as well as the classical arrangements for Imaginaerum The Movie, based on the Nightwish album.
He recently finished composition work for Remedy’s upcoming Control Resonant.

Under his moniker Lowland, Petri has sold out arenas with his Classical Trancelations shows, including a performance for almost 9000 people at Hartwall Arena, blending trance and dance classics with a full orchestra and choir.

Since 2018, he has also served as Audio Director for Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE’s radio department.

We could not be more excited to start this journey with such a visionary mastermind. Welcome, Petri!

We’re pleased to announce that Tom Frisk is joining the NBM/BMG team to lead our publishing operations.

Tom is a highly respected executive in music publishing. He led Warner Chappell Music’s creative operations in Finland for 16 years. He has also served as an advisor to Teosto and held numerous expert and board roles across music industry organizations.

Together we’re building a stronger publishing business as part of BMG’s international network.
