Comfort feels safeโ€ฆ but sometimes growth starts when we step beyond it. ๐ŸŒฑ

I could have simply stayed with my routine corporate job, earning my regular salary and doing what Iโ€™ve always done.

And honestly, thereโ€™s nothing wrong with that.

But I started asking myself:

What do I want my future to look like?
What will I do when my working years eventually come to an end?

And why not explore something different while Iโ€™m still working?

Those questions encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and learn something completely new.

Starting an online business alongside my career hasnโ€™t been about leaving my job. For me, itโ€™s about learning, growing and creating more choices for the future.

Sometimes we have to think differently, be open to learning and give ourselves permission to explore something new.

Fear vs Action

What if the thing youโ€™re calling โ€œbeing realisticโ€ is actually fear?

Sometimes fear sounds like common sense.

When I first came across this opportunity, I had questions too.

Can I actually do it?
Do I even have the time?

I had a demanding corporate job, family responsibilities and a busy life. But instead of letting those questions stop me, I decided to do my due diligence and explore it properly.

Because I kept thinkingโ€ฆ years from now, I didnโ€™t want to look back and regret that I never even tried.

Sometimes you donโ€™t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to take the first step.

My Turning Point

I didn't start this side hustle because I had spare time.

Actually, I was already juggling enough.

A demanding corporate job.
Long hours. Deadlines. Targets.
Calls and emails that don't always stop at 5pm.

And then there was being a mum.

There were times I had to miss family moments because work needed me. Moments with my girls that I wished I could have been more present for.

Sometimes I was physically home, but mentally still thinking about work.

And honestly, I started asking myselfโ€ฆ

Is this how I want to spend the next 10, 15 or 20 years?

I wasn't looking to quit my job. I wasn't looking for a quick fix.

I simply wanted more choices.

More flexibility with my time.
More opportunities for my family.
And the possibility of building something of my own alongside my career.

So I decided to start.

Was I scared? Absolutely.
Did I have it all figured out? Not at all.
Did I have spare time? Definitely not! ๐Ÿ˜…

But I realised that if I kept waiting for life to become less busy, I might keep waiting forever.

So I started with the time I had.

And that's why I'm building this online business today โ€” not because I want to escape my life, but because I want to create more flexibility and choices within it. โค๏ธ
