I’ve just returned from Morez, where I went to acquire vintage machinery from another era—true pieces of craftsmanship that carry the spirit of traditional eyewear manufacturing.
During this trip, I also made an incredible discovery: old acetate sheets dating back to the 1980s from Mazzucchelli and LAES. These materials are absolutely remarkable—rich in character, history, and aesthetic depth. A true wonder.
I’m also sharing a few examples of tortoiseshell patterns that I was able to acquire—beautiful, timeless textures that perfectly illustrate the uniqueness of these materials.
I’m excited to share that these rare finds will soon be featured in our upcoming collection, to be unveiled at SILMO. Each piece will be released as a numbered edition, emphasizing the uniqueness and rarity of these exceptional materials.
