Apirat Boonruangthaworn is a Bangkok-born designer who has created a number of designs ranging from small decorative items to large furniture pieces. In 2010, the furniture brand +SENSE was founded under his direction with the aim of minimizing unnecessary details and maximizing a human sense in everyday objects (www.plus-sense.com). Up until now, Apirat has swept no fewer than 21 design awards within the country and 7 international design awards, namely Furniture Design Award from Singapore and G-Mark awards from Japan. With a number of notable furniture creations, he was awarded "Designer of the Year 2009" in furniture design category by Silpakorn University, Thailand.
