Hello Everyone,
We have a great event lined up this week.
THURSDAY 26th APRIL 10.00-12.00
Identifying and Selling your Skills and understanding how to promote yourself is a presentation delivered by Campbell Urquhart, Managing Director of the Urquhart Partnership and Lorraine Pitman, Careers Consultant at RGU. The session is to support you in understanding what skills are used in the world of work, where you have developed these skills and how you sell these and yourself to employers.
This event will help you identify your core skills and strengths and teach you how to demonstrate them when applying for jobs.
This will be particularly helpful for those applying for placements, internships and graduate jobs, and we ask that you please do not underestimate the value of this event.
It is open to all students, any year, any course, however we only have a limited number of places, so please drop us an email asap to secure a place.
The event is free of charge for our society members, and £2, which will be donated to charity, for non-members.
Finally, I would like to reinforce the value of this event, and hope to see you all there.
