Permission Granted!

Planning permission approved for the replacement of a semi-permanent open front storage building to a one of more permanence in stone and slate. The proposal results in a number of planning benefits, most notably from a visual perspective in that an unattractive structure would be replaced with something more visual pleasing.

This now allows for our client to have safe storage of construction plant, machinery and materials.

Delighted to announce that the scheme for the redevelopment of Whitley Bay Police Station into housing and office space has been approved by North Tyneside Council!

The scheme shows the retention of the majority of the former police station building with a modern extension to provide further housing.

There's plenty of negative reporting about planners/Councils, but our experience with the Planning Officer at NTC was exceptional and we got this through in around 3 months.

Planning Permission Granted for the conversion of this former stable building into two units, one dwelling, plus a holiday let!

A rural site so could only justify housing on the basis of conversion. Quite a modern building and with this, is a bit more tricky to get through planning. Fairly smooth process with the council. Planning officer who, whilst questioning a few elements, gave us time to respond and offer further justification. We also made some changes, as requested.

Overall, a good team effort, negotiated in a timely manner!

Hot off the press with this one! Permission granted today for the development of 5 no. yurts within clearings of the recently planted woodland. The yurts have been designed to be off grid and eco friendly with as minimal impact upon the open countryside landscape. Really happy to get this one over the line!
