One job led to another... 😅💚

After helping Mum with the gardening, I thought I'd give our artificial grass a bit of TLC too! 🌿✨

First, I vacuumed it to pick up all the leaves🍃 and bits, then gave it a clean to help remove any doggy odours 🐶, before finishing off by jet washing the patio. 💦

Now it's all nice and fresh😇 , we've got plenty of space to put the paddling pool up ready for the heatwave! ☀️🏖️

Who says gardening has to be hard work? 😄🍃

Today's tip... work smarter, not harder! 💪✨

After trimming the conifers 🌳, there was loads of hedge cuttings to clear up. Instead of spending ages trying to sweep 🧹 every little bit, I got to use my Kärcher wet & dry vacuum to help tidy everything up. It made such a difference and saved so much time! 🙌

I'm really enjoying learning new skills and finding better ways to get jobs done. Every job teaches me something new. 🌿

Would you rather spend your weekend doing jobs like this 😥... or using the right tools so jobs can be finished much quicker, giving you more time to put your feet up and relax while I give you a helping hand. 🩷😊

Little by little, I'm getting back to doing what I enjoy. 💖

As some of you know, I've also had a few hospital visits recently, so between recovering 🤕, starting my GCSE coursework 📚 and helping Mum while we've both been getting better, I've been taking things one step at a time.😌

Recently I helped a lovely couple tidy up their conifer hedge. 🌲 It wasn't as straightforward as I first thought because it still had fairy lights wrapped all through it! 😅 I started with my smaller tools, but it quickly became a bigger job, so we carefully took the lights off first before getting the hedge trimmer out... then re applying the lights so they sat neatly💡

I'm really enjoying learning new skills 🌳and building my confidence with each job I do. Every little job helps me gain experience and work towards my goals. 💪

Thank you so much to everyone who's been so patient🙏🏼 and supportive while I've been quieter. It really means a lot. 🩷

Hey everyone 👋

I've had lots of new followers recently, so I thought I'd say hello and give a little update!

You might be wondering why I haven't posted much work recently🙈. Behind the scenes, I've actually been really busy helping my mum 💁🏼‍♀️while she recovered from surgery. Unfortunately, she then injured her back and was bedbound for a while, so I've been helping out where I can at home.💝

But I like to keep Mum on her toes... 🤦‍♀️😂 I ended up in hospital the same week too!

We've both been taking things slowly and focusing on recovering, but I'm looking forward to getting back to helping people again soon. 💖

Thank you to everyone who has followed my page, supported me and cheered me on while I build LMG Helping Hands. It means a lot! 🥰

Well… this wasn’t part of the plan in my new venture 😳

While clearing out the shed I discovered this spider… and I’m pretty sure it decided to run after me rather than away from me! 🕷️😂

Safe to say there was a quick jump backwards!

So now I’m curious…

Sometimes it’s not about throwing everything away, it’s just about creating order so things are easier to find and use again.

Lilly-Mae completed a Talk The Talk training session this week and received her certificate for developing her speaking, listening and confident communication skills.

It’s all about learning how to structure and deliver presentations and communicate with confidence — skills that will help her through school, her new business venture and later in life too.

Well done Lilly-Mae. Keep believing in yourself 💛

This is Daisy, my 3-year-old French Bulldog 🐶💛

Took her for a little walk around the block on her extendable lead (which she absolutely loves because she thinks she’s independent 😂).

Of course we had to bring lots of hypoallergenic treats with us... she’s a bit fancy like that 🦴✨

Even if it’s only a short walk, she makes it feel like a big adventure with all the sniffing stops 🌿🐾

She definitely keeps me busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way 💕
