The Self-employed income support scheme is now open for those that are eligible. The grant is non repayable but taxable. It is based on taxable income averaged per month. Some clients with taxable profits of around £20,000 got a grant of £3800, paid within 6 working days.
Check by following the link below, you will need your National insurance number and your unique taxable reference number (UTR)
If you are eligible and wish to continue you will need the following, a government gateway number, this can be set up by following the link, but you will need a email address and a mobile phone number.
From there you have to prove your identity, the easy option is a UK passport, IE passport or NI drivers license is not allowed. The third option is answering multiple choice questions on information the government hold on record about us, they are difficult to answer, then your locked out for 24 hours if you get them wrong.
You then need bank details for payment.
