Still buzzing from the Knit+ Stitch Show!

We had such a lovely few days there and wanted to share a little look back!

One of the best parts was seeing our stitching table busy from start to finish, with so many different people stopping by to have a go. From friends and families to GCSE and A-level textile students, complete beginners and experienced stitchers, it was wonderful to see everyone picking up a needle and giving stitching a go.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our table such a lively and welcoming hub throughout the event. It was a pleasure to see people sharing ideas, discovering new projects, and getting excited about our latest kit launches, including a special preview of the new Emily Peacock designs. Moments like these remind us what a wonderful community stitching creates, and we're proud to be part of a growing network of passionate makers.

🎄🎄It’s (almost) beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we’re thrilled to reveal our new Christmas stocking kits designed in house!

Georgina at Appletons has created five beautiful stocking designs that can be displayed as a decoration, or to fill with a Christmas present for a lucky person! For the first time we are including finishing materials in the kit: a piece of velvet to line your stocking, a ribbon to attach to it and detailed instructions on how to make it up.

We’re so excited about these kits and we think Georgina has done a fantastic job! A handsome robin, gingerbread man, snowflake or one of two bargello designs – which will you choose?

We’re delighted to welcome Hayley Henderson to the Appletons team as our new Sales & Product Development Manager.

Hayley brings an impressive 18 years of experience across product and retail, including senior buying roles with ASOS and Harvey Nichols. Her background gives her a fantastic understanding of product, customers and the fast-moving retail world - experience we’re excited to bring into the next chapter of Appletons.

And she’s already getting stuck in!

From getting to know our products and customers to exploring new opportunities for product development and growth, Hayley is quickly becoming part of the Appletons family.
