Hey Everyone! Anne from Marketing here. Every day I learn something new about events management working . To be honest, as someone that attends events (and is always grateful when I make it out before the crowd), I never realised how much happens behind the scenes to make sure we are all able to enjoy our nights and get home safely, until followed the crew on a site safety walk (a very very long walk). I have summarised Egress for you here but I wanted to jump on and share my experience because it doesn’t begin to cover the hard work, time, meetings and contingencies planning that goes into it all. So, big up to CMPM and the teams that make sure we’re all covered so we can have amazing live event experiences.

Accessibility isn’t a feature — it’s the foundation of truly inclusive events.

Yesterday we explored why matters. Today, we’re unpacking the real challenge: the that quietly stop people from showing up in the first place — from physical access and cost, to confidence, communication, and feeling like they belong.

Because if people can’t get through the door (literally or figuratively), the event was never truly open.

Hello from the other side everyone! My name is Anne and I am a multi-hyphenate creative and CMPM’s Digital Marketing Manager. I’m all about capturing ‘The Moment’, coffee buzzes and wine coolers. Some might say I take my job 'a little bit’ too seriously – they had to gently pry the camera out of my hands during the Christmas party as a cute way to remind me that this time I could simply enjoy the moment rather than ‘capture it’. So, I switched the camera for a glass of prosecco. Really glad to be a part of this team and it’s nice to e-meet you all!
