There is a chilling archetype in the "Fixer" or the "Cleaner."

They are the characters brought into a narrative not to repair a broken situation, but to dissolve it. They operate with a cold, aesthetic efficiency, using a polite, almost pleasant mask to quietly dismantle things from the inside out. They don't look at the human cost; they look at the ledger, erasing the noise until the history is perfectly quiet.

This piece explores the universal tension between a systematic effort to erase a story and the witness's stubborn refusal to let the ink be bleached away.

I used to think visceral reactions to systemic failures were a weakness. Now, I realise they are my greatest research tool.

As a PhD researcher and a practitioner, I have often felt a deep computational dissonance when professional theories overlook the granular actuality of a situation.

I recently had a lightbulb moment: my brain is not merely too sensitive; it has evolved into a high-fidelity sensor for mere survival. I process the world from the bottom up. In my latest article, I discuss:

I am currently working on creative ways to reframe systemic blockages. Before, I used paint, but that just doesn't seem to cut it. So, I am trying to find a way to use words that release the somatic pain without retraumatising in the creative process.
