We’re delighted to welcome Captain Tim Hearn to the team as our new Head of Flight Operations and Head of Crew Training!

With over 20 years of aviation experience, Tim brings an incredible depth of knowledge and experience to the role. His career has seen him operate a wide range of aircraft, including the King Air, Airbus A320, A330 and the A340-600, across an equally diverse range of operations.

From air ambulance, executive passenger services, cargo, short-haul and long-haul flying, Tim has experienced almost every side of commercial aviation.

We’re excited to have someone with his experience and expertise to lead our flight operations and crew training department.

We’re looking forward to seeing the knowledge and standards he brings to the team!

After an extraordinary 45 years in aviation, we’re saying a very fond farewell to Captain Alejandro Perez, who has officially retired from flying.

Alejandro’s aviation journey began back in 1981 with the Chilean Air Force, marking the start of a career that would span more than four decades, countless countries, aircraft and experiences.

With over 10,000 flying hours and an incredible 10 type ratings, Alejandro has built quite a Career with the final chapter of that career spent here at DragonFly, flying our King Air and Citation fleet whilst sharing his knowledge, experience and professionalism with colleagues along the way.

Alejandro, thank you for everything you have contributed to DragonFly and, more importantly, for the experience you have shared with us!

Justin has been an integral part of the DragonFly family, spending over a decade on the King Air fleet as a Line Training Captain, helping to develop crews while consistently delivering the highest standards of professionalism, safety and customer service.

His dedication, knowledge and commitment have made him a valued mentor and colleague, and this next step is thoroughly deserved!
