We had the pleasure of carrying out the installation of a low voltage bathroom extractor fan for a new client.

We got called out to look at a faulty shower today, client reported smelling burning whenever they used the shower.

The fault ended up being a loose connection in the shower isolator switch, which had melted the isolator and caused heat damage to the cable.

All damaged cable was removed and a new 50amp isolator installed.

We tested and inspected the circuit and found no further faults or loose connections.

Interesting one today!!

One of our clients had an electrical fire today, caused by overloading multiple extension leads plugged into each other, with several items plugged into them, 3 of which were portable heaters which pull a huge amount of electricity which in turn causes a huge amount of heat.

Luckily a member of staff was in the room when it happened and was able to extinguish the fire quickly.

Please try to avoid using extensions leads where able, had nobody been there to put the fire out the Client could have easily lost their entire business.

We removed and replaced all the damaged accessories, containment and rewired the circuit, adding additional sockets to remove the need for extension leads.

We replaced the protective device in the distribution board with a 30mA RCBO to ensure the circuit and users have maximum protection in accordance with the latest electrical regulations.

All the works were tested and certificated on completion.

Commercial heater installation!!

3 x patio heaters installed above employee desks the circuit is protect by 30mA rcbo via a timer and contactor.

This existing single socket was extremely overloaded with kitchen appliances. We opted to Install 2 x additional double socket outlets behind the kitchen drawers.

All works were tested on completion.

Another faulty washing machine.

We replaced the damaged socket, tested the circuit for any faults and restored power to the circuit.

Unfortunately the washing machine failed the PAT test so we removed the plug top and informed the client who decided to replace it.

We had the pleasure of carrying out a complete renovation of an external electrical cupboard for one of our regular commercial clients.

Our builders also extended the height of the cupboard, replaced the leaking roof and installed a new door.

All works were tested and certificated on completion.

A quick replacement of a faulty socket outlet and washing machine plug top for one of our regular clients.

We also carried out a full test of the circuit and pat tested the washing machine after completing these works.
