Four years ago, Jodie Martin HR Consultancy was born from a laptop, a lot of determination, a passion for HR and an unhealthy amount of coffee ☕

What started as an idea and a leap of faith has grown into the JMHR brand I’m so proud of today 💙

This role is perfect for someone who is hardworking, enjoys hands-on work and is a strong team player.

🔧 THE ROLE
You’ll be involved in a variety of yard duties including:
• assisting with boat movements and lifting operations
• general maintenance and upkeep of the yard
• supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations

⚓ THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• ability to work well as part of a team
• practical, hands on approach
• a sense of humour is a must!

As of today, legislation is changing! A new policy that will transform all work places:

⏰ Mandatory Daily Nap Time (2:00pm-3:00pm) 😴

Backed by extensive research (and let’s be honest, pure common sense), this new policy will require all employees to:
• log off
• find a comfy spot
• recharge properly (duvet optional, but encouraged)

To support this important legislative change, we’ll now be offering:
🛏️ workplace nap audits
💤 “Sleep strategy” consultations
☕ emergency coffee plans for non-compliant clients

This is an excellent opportunity working hands on with a variety of vessels and equipment, apply your technical expertise and truly make your mark within a skilled and supportive team environment!

Ideally we're looking for someone who brings proven marine engineering experience alongside confident electrical diagnostics, maintenance and repair skills.
