I’d really encourage you to take 10 minutes to share your experience. The 2026 Looking Glass Survey is an important piece of industry insight, and I’m sharing it because your voice genuinely matters. Please take part.

Across the Midlands – from Nottingham to Leicester, and Birmingham – behind the scenes workers play a vital role, but their experiences of working life often differ from those in London and the South.

That’s why the The Film and TV Charity is inviting people working behind the scenes in the Midlands, and across the UK, to take part in its 2026 Looking Glass mental health survey.

Your insight shows what’s really happening - from hybrid working to life in smaller regional teams - and helps shape support and policy based on real experience.

It takes 10 minutes, is completely anonymous, and is the UK screen sector’s only long term mental health study.

Insight - especially from underrepresented voices in the Midlands - drives change.

Share your experience.
