A new campaign has been launched, calling on businesses in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) to support NHS staff dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

The campaign is seeking donations of unused PPE from local businesses, particularly those in the , and sectors. Can you or your business help?

There is a specific need for:
· Any fluid resistant surgical masks including (although not exclusively), FFP2 or FFP3 rated.
· Nitrile gloves
· Visors or goggles
· Disposable aprons or overalls

To make a donation, please e-mail [email protected] to arrange a delivery time. (Social distancing measures are in place for equipment drop-offs).

A number of businesses, including our own, are advising employees to work from home in the ongoing attempt to curb the coronavirus outbreak.

It is hoped that by keeping employees apart from each other, we can reduce the chance of group spread as well as the opportunity for the virus to be caught during a commute or in communal office spaces.

We commissioned a bespoke spoken-word piece from Birmingham born Rapper ‘Lady Sanity’ which she performed exclusively for SF Recruitment on the night of our Christmas party in December 2019.

Lady Sanity has featured in some prominent and prestigious music events including taking centre stage in the Commonwealth Games’ closing ceremony in Australia in 2018. She has regularly performed on BBC 6Music and appeared at the Glastonbury festival as an emerging talent. Great things are expected of her especially with the support of BBC Music Introducing in 2020.

Delighted to be able to offer a huge shout out to the fantastic Girls that Mix. A sassy all female group who joined us at our Christmas party. They played us dance floor classics throughout the night with their unique collaboration of DJ mixing, light up sax & percussion.

Girls that Mix include Bongo gal, Rach, Electric Violinist, Emma, DJ Laura and Girl on Sax, May. Their boundless energy, talent and sparkle certainly got everyone up and dancing.
