Last week was packed with lots of action and emotions! While adding the final touches to the first Diverse BCP Trade Show (which took place last Friday, on 22.04), our founder Bea has received the Women's Community Impact Award in recognition of the Diverse BCP support for diverse businesses in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. Thank you Women's Community Impact Awards Dorset , it is a great honour that you have selected us. Both with our diverse business shows and our online diverse directory that will be up and running very soon (for more details go to www.diversebcp.co.uk) we want to make diverse companies in the BCP area of Dorset feel that they get the support they need to grow while everyone in our community feels more connected to one another. Today is a big day! At the Citygate Centre in Bournemouth, the first Diverse BCP Trade Show will take place, showcasing some of the diverse businesses from Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. The event starts at 10.00am and finishes at 2.00pm. Come to meet the companies that are either ethnic minority-owned or open to working with people from diverse heritage backgrounds (i.e. British-owned but culturally inclusive :) ). The event is FREE and OPEN to the public.
We also wanted to share with you that we have been humbled to receive a very special recognition: the Covid-19 Response Award for supporting the local businesses and helping them get back on their feet after the pandemic 😊. Thank you so much Women's Community Impact Awards Dorset ! If we work together, we will grow stronger individually and collectively. Each business that is doing better makes our community better, too
