Kilimanjaro actually trained me for something I didn’t even know was coming.

Up the mountain?
➡️ Lost all appetite because of the altitude.

Months later, during recovery from surgery?
➡️ Couldn't eat a thing. Tube fed. Liquid diet. The works.

Turns out I did a practice round at 5,895m without realising it.

Life has a wild sense of humour. 😂

And if that taught me anything, it’s this:
👉 You are stronger, more adaptable, and more resourceful than you think - even in the moments where you’re drooling over other people’s sandwiches.

Humour helps.
Grace helps.
Trusting yourself helps even more.

I can eat everything again now, so I'll be enjoying my Christmas lunch even more this year 🍷
