My approach to work as a consultant is very hands on. I like to work with teams and explain, demonstrate and coach them on how to do things differently. I sometimes question if this is the best approach (afterall, surely I should just advise them how to do it and they will be able to do it). However, time and time again I see the huge impact my approach has on settings. Over the last few weeks I have had the pleasure of revisiting a nursery chain I have (and still do) support and what a change I have seen. Staff deployment is highly effective, staff interactions with children are great and teaching is amazing. Happy staff + happy children = exceptional progress 😉
