There’s real value in coming together to learn, reflect, and see things differently.

Not in a heavy or overwhelming way. Just in a way that makes sense.

Our Climate Fresk sessions and sustainability courses are built around that.

Simple conversations. Shared understanding. Practical insight.

If June feels like a good time to reconnect and learn something new, we’d love to have you join us.

On the 3rd July we’re hosting our next Climate Fresk available for anyone to join online.

Book your space here: https://thinkpragmatic.uk/climate-fresk-workshops-with-bryony/

Will we see you there?

If you’d prefer to organise a private Climate Fresk for your company, reach out to Bryony Roberts and we can arrange that for you.

June has a way of softening everything.

The mornings feel lighter. The evenings stretch a little longer. And there’s more space to step outside and simply notice what’s around us.

It’s not about doing more. Just paying attention.

What have you noticed changing lately as we come into summer?

Our founder, Roberts, has noticed the swifts returning to nest in her garden. Her swift boxes are in their current year and were put up in conjunction with the .

There is much we can be doing to support biodiversity during this time to support our planet in thriving for years to come. This includes:

🌻Leave the pile of logs in the garden for hedgehogs to shelter in as they come out of hibernation and explore. Go one step further and leave out a small tray of water for them to drink from.

🌻Try not to feed the birds with bird feed from garden centres. Instead, try growing berry-producing shrubs and seed-heavy flowers to provide more self-sustaining support for biodiversity.

How will you be supporting biodiversity this Summer?

In the midst of the grave state of the planet and biodiversity, there has been progress this year, and it is important to celebrate the wins to give us hope and inspiration to keep going.

Watch below to see the progress we have seen so far this year!👇

These are not ‘small wins,’ they have massive potential to positively impact our climate, but we still have a long way to go.

Have you heard any good news for the environment recently that has kept you motivated to continue doing your bit? 🌎

Longer days. Lighter air. A quiet nudge to reconnect, not just with nature, but with each other.

Community doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as a conversation on a walk, a shared coffee in the sunshine, or taking a moment to check in with someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.

Spring is a reminder that renewal isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s gentle. A shift in pace. A breath of fresh air. A decision to show up again.

If you’ve been feeling stretched or stuck, consider this your prompt. Get outside. Reconnect. Refresh your perspective. Renew your energy.

Small steps. Real impact.

It’s a heavy realisation the moment you look at your children and realise the world they inherit depends on the choices we make today. 🌍

When I had children, my "why" shifted. Sustainability stopped being a buzzword and started being about protecting my kids' tomorrow.

But as a busy parent, "saving the planet" sounds like another massive task on an already endless to-do list. It feels overwhelming, expensive, and impossible to get "right."

But you don’t have to be perfect, and you don’t have to do it all at once.

Think Pragmatic exists to help you start your journey, make those small changes and build from there. Small, realistic changes add up to a big impact over time. You don't need to overhaul, you just need to start.

Whether it’s one simple habit change in the kitchen or a small shift in how you shop, these are the stepping stones. Our community and courses are designed to help you integrate these tiny habits one by one, building a sustainable lifestyle that actually fits around school runs, work meetings, and the chaos of family life.

So if you don’t know where to start, start here: https://thinkpragmatic.uk/sustainability-online-courses/

We are often asked: Why should I join a Climate Fresk when looking for ways to increase sustainability efforts?

Climate Fresks are an incredible tool for providing quality climate education.

Participants can get fully involved in problem solving and interactive tasks. Understanding the problems and placing yourselves in the seats to make changes through this activity sparks real action. It also prompts innovative thinking and motivation that is needed to make a real change in reality.

We run public Fresks online accessible to all, as well as private Fresks which allow companies and organisations to get their team thinking more deeply about sustainability and realising where they could be applying this in the work they do for society.

Climate Fresks are fun, effective and create the sense of community we need to motivate us to make a collective difference.

Join our next public Climate Fresk:
🌎 May 1st, 10am - 1pm - online: https://thinkpragmatic.uk/event/general-public-climate-fresk-workshop-online/
🌎 June 5th, 10am-1pm - online: https://thinkpragmatic.uk/event/general-public-climate-fresk-workshop-online-2/

Save by turning to sustainability.

You may not have considered that being more climate-conscious could save you money…but it can do so much more than that.

Mitigating your climate impact as a family isn’t just about cutting carbon; it’s about building the mindset and values our families will need for the future.

Children, for example, learn responsibility, develop resilience, and adaptability when they see climate action modelled consistently.

So let’s go beyond recycling and develop habits as a family that will become subconscious to your children as they grow up - allowing you to create sustainability that easily lasts and save money in the process. 🧠

Swipe through these graphics for easy tips to integrate sustainable habits into your day-to-day that will influence your kids to adopt the same.
