Security 2000 Ltd have now been a Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme (SIA ACS) certified security company for Security Guarding and Key Holding for the last 16 years, continuously.

Our recent SIA ACS audit was satisfactorily completed and saw an improvement of 20 points from last years pass score.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff that have worked hard to maintain high standards of service and embraced the changes that we have made, which have helped the business evolve and improve across the board.

A further thankyou goes out to many of our clients that accommodated site visits and took the time to speak to the auditor, answering their questions.

New employee bonus payable of 1 week’s wages upon successful completion of probationary period. The bonus payable will be the equivalent to the average weekly wage earned during the probation period.

We are now recruiting for 3x mobile security patrol officers for the Bristol area, with wages paid weekly for 12 hour shifts.

A great opportunity to join a security provider that has been established since 1993, which holds various industry accreditation's including Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme (SIAACS), Safe Contractor Approved and Safe PQQ.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Carrying out designated security patrols both on foot and in a vehicle
Building unlock/lock ups
Alarm response
Providing support for other patrols and officers during incidents
Response to client requests for a security presence
Taking a proactive approach to the prevention of crime within your patrol area

All applicants must have:
• A valid SIA licence (minimum of security guard)
• A full driving licence, with their own transport in order to be
able to get to and from place of work to collect the patrol
vehicle.
• A flexible approach to work is required by all who apply, being able to work days, nights and weekends on rotation, or as the company requires.
• A 5-year check-able work history/history is required for vetting to BS7858.
• Willing to work under PAYE.

Previous security and/or professional driving experience is an advantage, however is not essential as full training will be provided in addition to ongoing personal development within the security industry.

Weekly pay.

A successful security operation completed for a prestigious client, tactically planning, then implementing security for a special event which spanned over 3 days.

Part of the operation involved a number of helicopters and this was our favourite of the helicopters in use.

This beauty will only set you back £5.4 million and does 435 miles to a full tank.

One of our security patrol officers showed great vigilance during a routine patrol noticing a broken window in a door on an industrial unit, of which was not a client of Security 2000 Ltd.

Being a well-trained and professional security officer, they called the police, then our control room and requested support from another of our security patrol units in the area.

A second security patrol unit arrived within minutes and both officers monitored the industrial unit, acting as witnesses to any subsequent events until police arrived on the scene.

Upon arrival of the police our officers assisted securing the perimeter whilst police entered. Police then made the discovery of a huge cannabis farm inside the industrial unit.

Police have estimated that the grow comprises up to 2000 plants with an approximate street value of £1.5 million.

Without the diligence of the patrolling officer, who then followed the escalation protocols of Security 2000 Ltd for such an incident, this huge amount of cannabis may have eventually found its way onto the streets.

Instead, crime has been disrupted, great work by all involved.
