Seems it's not all bad news for the small business world.

Report shows over 80,000 businesses launched during lockdown across all industries but all playing to the increase in online buying.

What's more, the report showed different parts of the UK have experienced varying rates of digitisation.

Good news for us in that the South West has seen the most businesses launch eCommerce offerings in relation to the total number of businesses in the region, with 4,170 online shops created.

Thousands of businesses in Bristol including charities, nurseries and street traders can now apply for a special Covid-19 grant of up to £5,000.

Businesses with 49 or less employees are strongly advised to review the application form as soon as possible to ensure evidence can be submitted before the deadline on Sunday 12 July at midnight.

If you're a business who has already applied for a grant under this scheme, please do not apply again.

UWE Bristol have launched their Undergraduate Summer Internships Scheme 2020. It will offer support to SME’s, start-ups and charities.
