🐝 Now THAT is a wasp nest! 😳

We were called out to remove a huge dormant wasp nest from a loft after tradesmen refused to enter the loft to carry out essential works.

Thankfully, the nest was no longer active — but judging by its size, it would have been home to a LOT of wasps when fully active! 🐝😬

Nest safely removed, meaning the tradesmen can now get on with the job. 🔨✅

🚨 HUGE BED BUG INFESTATION IN FISHPONDS! 🚨

Today we attended a property in Fishponds, Bristol, where we found a serious and clearly longstanding bed bug infestation. 🪳😳

The amount of activity around the bed was shocking. Those little black dots you can see in and around the bed aren’t dirt… they’re bed bug faeces (droppings). 🤢

This is a great example of how quickly a bed bug problem can become established if left untreated.

How cute are these little guys! 🦇❤️

On today’s wasp job, we came across some very unexpected residents — bats! 🦇

The bats were actually in a different building to the wasp nests we were dealing with, but it’s a great reminder of why, as professional pest controllers, we need to be aware of what else may be present when working in roof spaces, lofts and other areas of a property.

Not every creature in a roof space is a pest, and some species require special care and protection.

Thankfully, these little guys were safely away from the wasp treatment. 🦇👌

🚨 ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BED BUG TREATMENT! 🚨

Yesterday we attended a 1-bedroom flat in Withywood suffering from a heavy bed bug infestation. 🪳

On inspection, bed bugs were located in multiple areas, including:

🛏️ Bed & mattress
🪟 Curtains
🛋️ Sofa
🎮 Gaming chair

Bed bugs don’t always stay in the bed! In heavier infestations, they can spread into furniture, fabrics and other areas around the room.

🪰 FLY PROBLEM IN STAPLE HILL! 🪰

We attended a call-out in Staple Hill following reports of a significant fly problem.

🔎 The flies were identified, and based on our findings, they are associated with rotting meat/decaying organic matter.

We are now working closely with the landlord to gain access to the whole building so we can investigate further and identify the source of the infestation.

Finding the source is key when dealing with flies — simply treating the adult flies won't solve the problem if the underlying cause remains. 👀

We’ll keep working with the landlord to get to the bottom of this and find a suitable solution.

We were called early doors by the owner of an Airbnb who was desperately trying to source a pest controller after guests reported finding bed bugs. 😳

On inspection, bed bug activity was confirmed, and treatment was carried out promptly to get the situation under control.

Today we were called out to deal with a HUGE wasp nest that had been causing concern for the customer.
