Our next relaxed singles evening is taking place at Bremi's in Aston Fields on:

⏰ 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Whether you've been to one of my events before or you're thinking of coming along for the first time, you'll find a friendly group of singles, a welcoming atmosphere and absolutely no pressure.

Just real conversations with other singles in a relaxed setting.

Many people come on their own, so if you're feeling a little nervous, please don't let that stop you. You'll be warmly welcomed.

People often ask me what they actually get as an Affinity PLUS member, so I thought I'd share a few of the extra things we've got planned.

Already in the diary for this year:

What I love most is that Affinity has become much more than a dating community.

Some people join hoping to find love.

Some join to make new friends.

Some simply want more reasons to get out, socialise and enjoy life.

After all, life is too short to spend it sitting at home wondering what everyone else is doing! 😊

❤️ This is why I do what I do...
When I organise events, I don't often hear what happens afterwards.

People come along, chat, laugh, swap numbers (or don't!), and then they disappear back into their lives.

But tonight was one of those special nights.

Two people came along purely to tell me that they had met at the Golf Evening and are now completely smitten with each other. ❤️

Then one of my members told me that another couple who met at The Running Horse the last time we were there have also been seeing each other.

I have to admit, hearing things like that makes my heart very happy.

I don't promise love.

I can't guarantee you'll meet your person.

What I can promise is the opportunity to meet other genuine singles in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Sometimes that leads to new friendships.

Sometimes it leads to confidence and getting out of the house again.

Sometimes it leads to laughter, support, and a wider social circle.

And sometimes...

It leads to something a little bit magical. ✨

Seeing these lovely couples finding each other is exactly why Love In Sync was created.

Not as a dating app.

Not as a matchmaking service.

But as a place where real people can meet face-to-face and give life a chance to surprise them.

Tonight was one of those moments that reminded me that Love In Sync is becoming everything I hoped it would be. ❤️

❤️ Sometimes you need a reminder of why you started...

Today I met up with the last couple I personally matched before I stepped away from matchmaking to focus on singles events and the Love In Sync community.

They've now been together for almost 12 months and invited me to lunch to tell me how things are going.

And honestly... it made my day.

Over the years, my matchmaking experience, dating coaching, and relationship work have allowed me to support hundreds of singles through some of the toughest chapters of their lives. Breakups, divorce, bereavement, loss of confidence, fear of starting again... I've sat with people through all of it.

What I realised was that many people didn't just need help healing.

They needed a next step.

A way to get back out into the world.
A chance to meet people face-to-face.
A safe place to build confidence again.
A community where being single isn't something to hide from.

That's why Love In Sync evolved into what it is today.

While I no longer focus on traditional matchmaking, seeing this lovely couple today reminded me that every event, every conversation, every introduction, and every bit of encouragement can change someone's life.

Love doesn't always arrive when we expect it.

Sometimes it starts with simply saying yes to a coffee morning, a social night, or a conversation with someone new.

Thank you both for taking the time to meet me today and for allowing me to be a small part of your story. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our No App, Just Chat evening at All Bar One Worcester on Thursday evening. 😊

We had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and, unusually, more men than women this time — which just proves you really never know who is going to turn up at singles events!

It was also lovely to welcome some new faces, and thank you too to everyone who booked but couldn’t make it this time. Hopefully we’ll see you at a future event soon.

Our next No App, Just Chat social is at The Running Horse, Bewdley on:

A little behind-the-scenes insight into why I personally check everyone before approving them into the Affinity community

Today I had someone try to sign up claiming to be based in the UK… but their account timezone showed as Africa.

Now, it could be innocent. VPNs and settings do happen.

But this is exactly why I don’t believe in simply letting people straight into a singles community with no checks at all.

Safety, trust, and genuine people matter to me far more than growing numbers quickly.

It’s also why I started with events first, rather than “just another dating app”. People show up, meet in real life, and build connections naturally.

The online side is there to support the community - not replace common sense

So if I ever ask a few extra questions before approving someone, please know it’s not me being difficult… it’s me protecting the lovely people already inside Affinity 💛

What a lovely morning we had at our very first 50+ Singles Coffee & Chat at Bremi’s 😊

I’ll be honest… I had no idea if there would be 2 people or 20 turning up on Saturday — but I’d already decided that even if it was just 2, those 2 people had been brave enough to come along and deserved a warm, welcoming morning.

Well… do you know what?
We had 14 lovely people join us, with a great mix of men and women, lots of conversation, laughter and people moving around chatting and getting to know each other.

I asked a few people afterwards whether they preferred daytime events or the evening socials. Most actually said both! But what many did say was how much they enjoyed being able to properly talk, relax and get to know everyone in a different setting.

So I think it’s safe to say… Coffee & Chat mornings will definitely be becoming part of Love In Sync events from now on

I’ve had a few messages recently that reminded me how real this is for so many people.

“I love your posts… I’d come to an event… but I don’t really want it showing that I follow a singles page 😬”
