🌟 What a fantastic day at the Stratton & Holsworthy Show yesterday! 🌟

A huge thank you to all the organisers for putting on such a brilliant day. After the weather that came through in the early hours, we were so lucky that the day turned out absolutely beautiful! ☀️

We had the pleasure of meeting so many lovely people and local businesses, including people who could benefit from the services we provide here at Visiting Angels North Devon & Cornwall. We also met some fantastic potential new Angels who may be interested in joining our team — which is always exciting! 💜

We were genuinely blown away by the wonderful feedback we received from people already using our services, as well as from healthcare professionals who shared their appreciation and told us about the positive reputation they’re hearing about our care. This means so much to us and makes everything we do so worthwhile. 🥰

We were also visited by lots of wonderful children throughout the day. They were incredibly polite and curious, with some even taking a real interest in what we do — it was lovely to chat with them and see their enthusiasm! 💜

And, of course, we couldn’t forget our very own furry Angel, Maggie! 🐾💜 She even entered the dog show and came away with three rosettes! 🏵️🏵️🏵️ We couldn’t be prouder of her — she certainly enjoyed being part of the day!

All in all, it really was such a fantastic day, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone.

Today we’re celebrating our wonderful four-legged friends and the special place they hold in our homes and hearts. 🐶

For many of the people we support at home, a beloved dog isn’t just a pet — they’re a companion, a source of comfort, and an important part of everyday life. 🏡💕

At Visiting Angels, we understand that staying at home means being able to continue enjoying the things, routines and companionship that matter most. Whether that’s a morning cuddle with your furry friend, a little help around the home, or having the confidence to enjoy your daily routine, our care is all about supporting people to live life on their own terms. 🌷

And let’s be honest… sometimes our clients’ dogs are the ones giving us a warm welcome when we arrive! 🐕

We keep hearing the words, “I wish you were around when we needed care for my parents.” ❤️

While we can’t go back in time, we’re incredibly proud that since launching, we’ve been able to offer support to everyone who has reached out to us for an enquiry and wanted to continue following their consultation.

Our goal is to keep growing our wonderful team so that we can continue to support more families and future clients across North Devon and Cornwall. 💙

As part of that plan, we’re continuing to recruit for growth!
