A great day out for bookkeepers Lizzie and Heather at Suffolk FWAG’s Annual Farm Walk at Little Bradley Farm 🌿🚜
Hosted by Colin & Mrs Clifton-Brown and sponsored by Ashtons Legal LLP, the visit offered a really insightful look at how the farm has evolved over time.

From a tour of the livery yard, stables and paddocks 🐎 to discussions on deer management and the increasing importance of stewarding land taken out of production, there was plenty to take away. We also heard about the extensive tree and hedgerow planting across the farm 🌳 and the value of reintroducing these features.
The farm’s diversification stood out too — including a beautifully converted wedding barn 💍 providing a strong additional income stream, alongside new cropping approaches such as sunflowers for oil 🌻

Interesting conversations around national food security and current challenges in farming rounded off the day, followed by a well-earned hog roast 🍽️

Great to connect with fellow farmers and industry professionals 🤝

A great couple of days at Cereals Event 🌾

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Stand 146 for a chat — it was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share insights, and catch up with familiar faces across the industry 🤝

Despite the rain and a fair bit of mud, it certainly didn’t stop people turning out and making the most of the event 🌧️👢

A big thank you to Cereals for organising such a well-run event at Diddly Squat Farm. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of it and look forward to what’s ahead 🚜
