✏️ Proofreading Services

Many proofreaders charge a flat rate per thousand words — but not every job is the same. If your writing is already quite clean, it takes less time to review. More complex writing may take a little longer.

That’s why I charge an hourly rate 😌
So you only pay for the time your work actually needs.

For ebooks, blog posts, social media posts, website pages, and anything with words!
(Many clients bundle their copy from the above sections and I go through it all together to get the most from their proofreading.)

Pricing:
💷 £32 per hour
⏱ I typically proofread between 2,500 words per hour, depending on the text.
The cleaner your writing, the quicker (and cheaper) the job.
🤓 Minimum of 1 hours work, I charge in 15 minute increments and round down to the nearest penny.

• Full proofreading for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency
• Light clarity checks and suggestions where needed, if instructed I can write sections to fill gaps, expand on sections that need expansion or rewrite sections where appropriate.
