Guess who's had a busy week?

I think the boys are knackered just watching me coming and going enjoying a busy week 🤪 we're all thinking 'thank crunchie it's Friday!'

This is the cherry on the cake for me!

A school asked me to go in and do some Mindset intervention focuses with individual children. The impact has been so that when I went this week there was a card and gift for me in the office from a parent.

But because unlike other school interventions who don't often connect with the parent I was able to liaise with them too as well as the class teacher, all of which are pieces of the puzzle that influenced the child's mindset. They were interested to know because they cared and wanted things to change but didn't know how, just subtle shifts in focus can make all the difference as this family have recognised.

Some interventions are transactional I'm all about the transformational.

Love Simon Sinek makes alot of sense and this is something that I absolutely resonate with. Whenever I work alongside people, adults and children the link between their thoughts and then their emotions always comes through, and this resulted in my whole class programme 'Think It / Feel It' a 6 week workshop linking Mindset and Emotional Regulation.

Just back from a relaxed evening hosted by the lovely Art By Roselle Art and Soul at the Olympus Fish & Chips Restaurant.

Went very open minded, it was all about being curious, exploring, taking a risk, not being perfect and having fun! All traits of the growth mindset.

I loved it and would highly recommend any future workshops to anyone 👩‍🎨

Being present with Poppies and Peonies

Just wanted to share the presence of these beautiful flowers I've had the pleasure of watching grow, come into bud and then bloom in my garden.

We are just the same, but too often we focus our attention on our end results, grades, what we have to achieve, what success is, what we are good at and so miss the joy of watching ourselves grow.

No matter what your goals, enjoy every step of how you get there, even the dips and troughs because that's when you grow the most and fully bloom.

June is full of Mindset joy as Liz has started to and is looking forward to working alongside clients from different sectors.

One thing she's noticed is whilst in the past she had a small collection of clients vested in the development of Mindset Awareness this is growing with clients from the past picking it back up and coming back as well as clients not doing a one-off but wanting to embed and create momentum.

When I work with my 1-2-1's I engage in what they find interesting to reinforce developing their mindset awareness.

This is a completed Mindset Board created by a Year 6 child who collated phrases, words and images to create a focus. And whilst this looks lovely on her wall today we explored how this can be used:

🧠It can set your scene each day – focus on a phrase, a thought or affirmation.
🧠You can use it to change your perspective in ‘life’ situations.
🧠It’s a positive reminder of what’s important to you.
🧠Visually pleasing, makes you feel good.
🧠When you’re defaulting to your Fixed Mindset use it to get your Growth Mindset messages.
