As a music tutor, I've heard this a few times and have always been skeptical. At the very least, we don't know what we don't know and it's almost impossible for a novice to know what to focus on in each stage of their development and to design a fun, relevant and effective strategy to get there.
As music educators and former (or current) music students, we know the value an experienced tutor can bring.
However, many tutors do not look at their teaching practice the same way. Having built my music school to over 140 students and generating well over £100, 000 of turnover per year, I know in hindsight it could have been a smoother journey. I've learned a lot along the way and made a lot of mistakes. I can help you get there quicker and more smoothly than I did.

I really enjoy this but as it's not my full time job (running the music school keeps me pretty busy!) I charge a fraction of most business coaches at £50 for 1-hour and £80 for 2-hours, either in person if you're local to Bushey (WD23) or on Zoom. If after 10-minutes you don't think you'll get your money's' worth, I'm even happy to stop there and refund the full fee back to you.
