“Hang on”…what a ride! 🏁

We’re incredibly proud to have been involved with the Holehouse family’s incredible effort in taking on the legendary Pavia to Venice race — a well-known and demanding race, famous for its challenging sandbanks.

Not only did they complete the race… they finished as the fastest Brits! 🇬🇧🏆 Huge congratulations guys, a fantastic achievement.

We had the honour of supplying the first Mercury 200R into the UK featuring the 15” offshore mid-section — a really exciting milestone for us as MERCURY RACING dealers. Our engineering team previously covered what makes this engine so special and its benefits in racing, so make sure to check that out if you haven’t already.

To make the setup work on the Holehouse Phantom, we carried out a full re-fit and bespoke modifications including:

-Transom adaptation/ modification
-Design and laser cutting of new lifting eyes
-Long range fuel tank set up + switch gear
-New wiring set up
-Simrad navigation suite + latest reveal tech
-Crash helmet intercoms with switchable VHF coms
-Driver and navigator kill cord either or system
-Steering wheel trim controls
-Precision foot throttle for ultimate control

A proper engineering project from start to finish, and an even better result on the water.

We are incredibly proud to see one of our BLS Marine, commercial-built, TITUS vessels playing a part in a truly historic occasion.

A TITUS vessel operated by Jersey Seafaris, had the honour of transporting Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh to Les Écréhous for the first-ever Royal visit to the reef.

It’s fantastic to see one of our boats being relied upon for such a prestigious event, showcasing the quality, capability and reliability that goes into every vessel we build.

Major engine repairs with the dream team, Graham and Ben 🔧🙌🏼

At BLS Marine, we specialise in commercial, professional, rescue and public authority vessels — from full TITUS builds to ongoing maintenance. Regular inspections and preventative servicing are a huge part of what we do to help organisations stay operational and ready when it matters most.

While preparing Hope Cove Lifeboat for their annual survey with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, worn engine mounts and bushes were identified that required urgent replacement to keep the rescue craft fully service-ready.

This required a substantial strip-down of the outboards to replace worn components, followed by a two-hour sea trial in Salcombe, as sea conditions prevented launching at Hope Cove.

We’re incredibly proud to carry out this work for our friends at Hope Cove Lifeboat and to work with such an important charity in our local community. 🙏🏻
