Today, five of the Elite Fire Solutions team, Kerri, Darren, Kelly, Grace and Emilia, had the pleasure of visiting Billericay Food Bank .

We were proud to donate £1,000 worth of essential items, including food, drinks, toiletries and sanitary ware, as well as pet food, baby food, nappies and wipes, to support the incredible work they do for people in our local community.

The team at Billericay Food Bank kindly gave us a tour of their hub and explained how they operate. It was a real eye-opener and a reminder of just how important organisations like this are, especially at this time of the year.

A huge thank you to everyone at Billericay Food Bank for the warm welcome and for the vital support you provide every day.

Not all inspections meet the required level of competence. Under the Building Safety Act 2022, contractors must assess their skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours (SKEB) before carrying out fire door inspections.

If an inspection report has led to unnecessary remedial works, it can be challenged, and inspectors can be held accountable. Poor inspections can now also be legally reported and prosecuted under Notifiable Works regulations.
