Our staff and service users have loved being involved in the installation of concrete lego blocks to create a larger storage area for kindling. 🪵

This new space will help us keep everything organised and make it much easier to store and prepare kindling ready for use!

Our Woodwork Department has been busy working on a fantastic commission!

We were recently asked by St Cuthbert’s Care to design and build two raised potato planters for their outdoor space. 🥔

It’s been a brilliant project for our service users, giving them the opportunity to put their woodworking skills to good use!

Philip, one of our fantastic service users in the Woodwork department, has just finished making another beautiful bird box! 🐦

This one will be heading to our Nurseries site (Stakeford Nurseries) where it will be available for sale to the general public.

A brilliant effort from two of our service users last week!

They’ve been busy bagging up kindling for one of our regular customers, and did an excellent job from start to finish.

Despite the cold weather, everyone at The Woodfuel Centre is keeping warm and busy this February! ❄️🔥

It’s been a productive month with plenty going on, and it’s lovely to see everyone working hard and staying positive no matter the weather.
