Before our logs are processed, split and kiln dried, they begin life right here in local woodlands.

Working alongside local forestry specialists and woodland managers, timber is carefully harvested as part of responsible woodland management programmes. These operations help maintain healthy woodlands, encourage new growth and ensure forests can continue to thrive for generations to come.

Once felled, the timber is stacked in the woodland ready for collection and transport back to our yard, where the next stage of the journey begins. From there, suitable timber is processed into our premium kiln-dried logs, while other material is supplied to local businesses for recycling and reuse.

Every log has a story, and it starts long before it reaches your fireplace.
