Tell me why I do like Mondays? Because many of them are spent working in the achingly beautiful Tamar Valley as these pictures show. We've been flat out in our namesake part of the world with decluttering raids in lovely Calstock,Halton Quay,Cargreen and onto Metherell on Thursday. Absolutely joyful to be working locally and in such lovely locations, thanks to all who've placed their trust in us to get difficult, and emotionally charged, jobs done. So,in the spirit of giving something back to the area I thought it would be an idea to stop off at the Dupath Well lay by this evening and remove the eyesore that is the stack of rubbish that hits you in the face as you drive by. Absolutely revolting and filled a refuse sack in ten minutes. Couldn't finish as a lorry was parked up but we'll be back to finish ASAP. So,without sounding like a this is a sermon (its not) I'll just say thanks again for some great jobs and we'll keep doing our little bit to keep this wonderful place tidy. Taking bookings for September but slots available if its urgent as current jobs are rolling so we have some flexibility. Enjoy the eclipse, share us far and wide, and catch you all soon.

What takes the sting out of Saturday morning house clearance duties with a hangover? Gold bars? No. Finding the Ark of the Covenant? No. An unclaimed winning lottery ticket? No. The answer is a stash of original Showaddywaddy vinyl from their priceless heyday. All that glitters ain't gold eh. Have a great weekend, hopefully not up to your necks in rubbish, and I'll catch you all on Monday from the recovery room. Mines a double......

Right, its Friday so this will be a quickie as the Archbishop said to his secretary. A very warm and draining week but Tamar valley house clearance is very happy to be continually working locally in the beautiful valley area that we nicked our name from. A quick before and after completed efficiently, quickly and economically on our doorstep yesterday and I'm conveying thanks to a truly lovely customer, thanks alot mate. However, the real news is a slew of goods on our patented, oft copied but never bettered "free for wall" Loads of clean goodies including some brand new in box. Take as much as you want, more will be appearing over the weekend in our ongoing efforts to keep the business as green as possible (by that i don't mean having anything in common with Polanskis nutty party) So,have a good weekend and keep your eyes open for new arrivals and,if the Monet in the centre turns out to be real then,as an antique dealer,I'll definitely have egg on my face....

Evening all, just a very quick one before some more exciting posts/pics and news in a day or two. Thanks mainly to you wonderful followers we're in the middle of a rich run of jobs and, subsequently, we are building a backlog of items, contents and other interesting stuff. Im looking for car booters who want to buy good, clean goods by the box full for very little outlay. This is stuff that doesn't warrant the effort of transporting and lotting at auction but could be sold at profit at car boots for anyone willing to put in the effort. Again, its part of our effort to keep reusing and recycling and,as the picture shows,we've got quite alot. So,sales pitch over, calling all car booters and message if you're interested in anything from a single item to a vanload. As ever please share with anyone you might think could be interested and ongoing thanks for helping keep us busy, it's hugely appreciated!!! See ya soon.

The things we find in house clearances eh. Just found this amazing 11 foot long ensign in an attic that,by all accounts, was flown on HMS Belfast after the Falklands conflict. So,in honour of the England/Argentina conflict, oops, match tomorrow we're dropping this off at HCP auctions in Liskeard ready for their next sale. A one off piece of British naval/military history brought to you by Tamar valley house clearance. Next stop, the crown jewels. Come on England!!!!!!

So,how's everyone bearing up in this heat? Despite the obvious difficulty of manual labour in the fierce, summer sun I'm getting a salon quality tan for free so I'm not complaining. Just a quick one as its nice to stay in touch and, thankfully we've been flat out since getting fully mobile again recently. Firstly big thanks to our growing little community thats starting to really give us regular leads. Can't emphasise how much that helps, its hugely appreciated. Secondly, a little gallery of the different environments we've been tackling recently. We've had everything from country estates,to sheds via storage facilities and its been interesting to say the least! Also, every single job has been reduced by selling what we can find among the clutter. So,despite a nicely bulging work schedule, give us a shout if you need help with anything from a single item to clearing out the family castle just in case Harry and Megan decide that the UK might be profitable again.Again, cheers folks, share the hell out of my semi coherent ramblings and we'll see you with more quivering content when we return from Cullompton in a couple of days. May the war on clutter begin!!!!!!

Good evening one and all, hope Monday has not been too taxing for you all. Haven't posted in a while due to getting back on the road and then chasing my tail after a sudden, and very welcome, influx of local jobs. Just a quick taster of an extreme job we're now about half way through and the before and after pic on our patented Tamar valley house clearance "free for wall" giveaway where the brilliant folks in my home village helped themselves to a whole bunch of goodies which keeps our and ethos firmly to the fore. We've got some plum jobs coming up in far off realms like East Devon and Somerset (exotic eh) but we're still constantly on the hunt for anything from a single item to the avalanche you can see in the pictures ( completed pictures will follow) So share our humble little page as much as you can to help keep and there'll be plenty to follow. Also, before I go we're looking for a home for the three bears in the picture as they recline on their cuddle seat. The two big ones are a tenner each and the little fella is free. All proceeds will go to a local so help us do a good turn and re home these boys before they nick all my honey. Right, over and out, only four days till the weekend.....

Phew, wot a scorcher. I hope you're all well and both enjoying the sunshine whilst,at the same time, enduring it. This is a totally different post to normal but,as its in a good cause,it doesn't really matter. When I'm not sifting through clutter and, hopefully, making people's lives a little easier, I rather enjoy playing classic, heavy rock n roll in two local institutions, those being The Jack and Metal Fatigue. We're combining forces this Saturday (30th) for a fundraiser for the amazing Livewire youth project in Saltash at the very same venue. It's a place close to our hearts along with the wonderful Andy Rance and all the brilliant volunteers who put so much in to give young people a truly memorable environment for creativity, expression and plain old fun. So, if you want to see a bunch of geezers with a collective age roughly equal to Stonehenge, playing rock music from about that same area, come on down to Livewire and help us support this wonderful project. Doors from 6.30 onwards, hopefully see you at the front. Please share this with whomever you can and let's have a memorable Saturday night

Were gonna need a bigger van. En route to a job in St Cleer and passed this megalithic wonder. Although we love ancient treasure here at Tamar valley house clearance I think this particular artefact may be overstepping the mark. If,however, you have a "barrow " load of old stuff and clutter you need removing then give us a shout, you'd be off yer quoit not too
