Throwback to last week when I visited Brussels for less than 24 hours!

Hosted in such a beautiful city, I was grateful to be able to make the meeting held by Impact Hub Yerevan. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the many ways creates opportunities to collaborate.

Through different partnerships, they are able to provide resources, mentorship and education to help push our community of change-makers in Armenia to build their ideas into innovative, profitable and impactful projects and enterprises.

My trip was rounded off by England's 3-0 World Cup win!

That's what I call a flying visit! ✈️

I had the pleasure to attend the final day of the Entrepreneurs Marketing Conference at the InterContinental London O2.

It was great to hear all about the latest in digital marketing from some fantastic speakers and experts including entrepreneur & motivator Mat Wilson.

As a Marketer, spends over £3.8 million per year on Facebook ads. In the past 3 months alone, Mat has generated 42,839 leads and built audiences of over 5 million people JUST from Facebook and Instagram.

It was also nice to bump into a familiar face who is doing brilliant work at his podcast agency, and sharing some incredible insights on the direction of the podcast industry.

From podcast episodes to in-depth discussions at our mutual members club, it has been a pleasure to have met and spent time with Winston Chesterfield this year.

It has been fascinating to hear Winston's knowledge into the luxury and wealth sector and I am grateful to have him share his experience and insight on my latest episode of Other Side of The Business Card.

Throwback to earlier this year when we completed a 3-month Executive Leadership Development programme with some of the leaders from Euro Mechanical, who are based in Abu Dhabi. Our thanks to William Malek for running another excellent programme for our clients.

We would like to give a shoutout to all of the companies who recognise the importance of investing in their employees to ensure that their leaders are in a state of readiness as uncertainty becomes a constant.

We are pleased that so many companies are already putting plans in place to gear up their Executive Teams for 2023 and beyond and we look forward to working with you next year.

Throwback to last week when I was in Texas catching up with good friends and business associates. It was a brilliant few days of quality time spent with Fred Amiryan in and out the office.

Thank you Fred for your fantastic efforts over the last 2+ years during the pandemic. When it was impossible for me to travel, you helped immensely to keep Haig Barrett Inc running smoothly, you’re a valued member of our team. Fred joined the Haig Barrett Team over 12 years ago thanks to me posting a position for a PMO lead on LinkedIn!

Whilst over in the states, I got the chance to see some beautiful machines on display at the Lexus Campus in Plano, Texas.

I love the way Lexus are becoming a part of pop culture with Marvel by putting the spotlight on the Lexus RZ 450e. Some of you may recognise this from the recently released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie!

A final throwback to - 'The Future of Energy: Secure, Affordable and Sustainable' was the key theme this year, where industry leaders successfully navigate to a progressive energy transition. It was inspiring to see the responses to the rapidly changing global energy landscape and how products, plans and strategies can contribute to the larger scale goals.

It’s even more inspiring that our client Euro Mechanical has supported the growth of Abu Dhabi’s energy sector for more than 40 years, I am very proud to have been with them, their technical team and partners at their booth throughout the this ADIPEC event.

I look forward to working with them on how we can help create a future energy sector which achieves the UAE’s ambitious and world-leading 2050 Energy Strategy.

Throwback to last week when Kurt Larsson visited London for an in-person catch up. After 1.5 years of developing a relationship with Kurt, I was pleased he could join me and the team here in the UK to revise our business plans, develop the CAG International Strategy and assess the growth trajectory in the US.

The week consisted of tea time team-building at one of my favourite Persian restaurants and with immaculate planning and luck, we managed to cross paths with my family over in Maida Vale. The girls certainly loved meeting their first ’Swedish Office Uncle’.
