Congratulations to Rhianydd!

Rhianydd has just joined the board of North Gate Swansea’s Pride in Place Neighbourhood, bringing first-hand experience of the area’s strengths, opportunities and potential.

From sporting the hard hat during construction to launching Tramshed Tech Palace and building the community around it ever since, our Swansea Community Manager has been instrumental in bringing our newest home to life so this one’s thoroughly well deserved.

Last week the Tramshed Tech team, along with a group of Welsh SMEs, visited the Isambard-AI supercomputer at the Bristol Centre for Supercomputing (BriCS).

This was an invitation we were glad to accept off the back of hosting the Welsh launch of the UK’s Sovereign AI Fund back in May!

We managed to time the visit with one of the hottest days of the year... but that didn’t stop us discussing access routes to the computer and future collaboration opportunities.

The Welsh SMEs we brought along shared the brilliant work they’ve been doing across the region and who knows, some of them may become users of Isambard-AI in the future!
