Last month ended on a pretty special one. 🥹

I knew this girl back in our secondary school days, and fast forward to now and I got to photograph her WEDDING?!

How flipping mad is that?!

One of my favourite things about this job is getting to be part of such huge moments in people’s lives, and when it’s someone whose story crosses paths with your own, it feels that little bit extra special. ❤️

Yesterday was another really special day.

A few years ago, I met this beautiful pair when they were models for a styled shoot.

Fast forward to yesterday and I got to watch the two of them get married for real. 🥹

How flipping incredible is that?!

It’s pretty special when people you first meet through this crazy wedding world invite you back to photograph one of the biggest days of their lives.

Saturday’s wedding was such a reminder of why I love working with the couples who book me.

They just get it.

Even with the awful rain, we managed to sneak outside for ten minutes, and honestly, that’s all we needed. With a relaxed couple, an incredible team and a willingness to embrace whatever the day throws at you, you really can create a little bit of magic. ✨

And then receiving messages like this afterwards… 🥹

July 1st was the day I told Bella we were engaged. I can’t tell if she’s happy, shocked or gutted. 😅

The rest of the month was four weddings, second shooting, photographing so many comedians (I particularly love these ones of Dani Johns).

I celebrated a lot, received lovely gifts from my girlfriends. And I made memories during summer which might sound obvious to so many people. But when you work in weddings, sometimes (and even for years) you find the summer flies by and you haven’t done anything other than work. This July I’ve made up for it, a trip to Wimbledon with the future mother-in-law and ABBA in London. 🤌🏻❤️
