We’ve been busy clearing up storm damage trees over the past couple month. Just when we think we’re about done with high winds we’ve had another storm this weekend.

A job we recently started and doing in stages.

Here we have a laylandi hedge that’s not been touched in 8years.
Customer wants it done it stages as they have 7 dog and didn’t want them disturbed to much with the chainsaw for too long at a time. I decided to use my silky saw (hand saw) as much as I could to keep the noise level down for them.
Yes the job takes longer but also keeps the Customer and dogs happier.
Here’s the stages it’s getting done in.
Stage 1, reduce 1st half by 3/4meters in height
Stage 2 will be reducing the other half by the same.
Stage 3 will be to trim the sides

High winds blow this Silver Birch over in the winds a couple weeks ago. Covered in I've. Opened the drive for the neighbour and left the rest safe to go back and tidy up rest.
