Deafblind people who experience combined visual and hearing impairment. The support Sign 4 U offer is based on a highly flexible and personalised
approach, to ensure Deafblind people gain the maximum levels of independence,

🌈 PRIDE EXHIBITION LAUNCH EVENING – TOMORROW 🌈

Join Coalville CAN tomorrow evening for the launch of their Pride Exhibition, celebrating local LGBTQ+ voices through art, photography and personal stories.

The exhibition explores themes of identity, inclusion and community, showcasing the experiences and creativity of LGBTQ+ people from our area.

Everyone is welcome to attend this informal social evening, meet some of the artists, view the exhibition and find out more about the events taking place throughout June, including creative workshops, film screenings and community activities.

We’re highlighting SignPsychs – a specialist psychotherapy service providing therapy directly in British Sign Language (BSL). It is part of ASSIST, which has almost 40 years’ experience supporting Deaf communities.

What makes SignPsychs different is that therapy is delivered directly in British Sign Language (BSL) by registered therapists, not through an interpreter.

This means support is culturally sensitive, accessible and based on real understanding.

Mike Tyler and Katrina Todd‑Skeates from ASSIST explain why delivering therapy in BSL and tactile sign language can make such a difference to the mental health of Deaf and Deafblind people in .
