The summer holidays are nearly here.

And if you're a small business owner, you already know what that means.

Maybe the kids are home. Travel plans get pushed to the back of the queue. The enquiries don't stop. The inbox doesn't take a holiday just because you'd like to. The weather is glorious in Essex. I'm sitting in the garden with a well deserved cup of coffee reflecting on my working week.

Its truly been a busy week supporting my diverse clients. Helping with all sorts of tasks to ensure they switch off over the long weekend ahead!

Monday organising digital files in Outlook. Tuesday writing text content and captions for Facebook. Wednesday researching and booking networking events, and Thursday/Friday designing in Canva, a lead magnet Checklist.

Wouldn't have it any other way. Coffee will be substituted for a glass of wine later tonight 😋

What I've learned from working with different businesses.

One of the things I love most about being a VA is that no two clients are the same.

I've worked behind the scenes with businesses across construction, coaching, consultancy and more. Every single one has taught me something different.

Here's what I've learned:

Every business owner thinks their chaos is unique. Well, believe me it isn't. The same problems show up again and again just in a different disguise.

The inbox that feels impossible to keep on top of. The social media that remains a list of ideas with no real plan. The onboarding process that gets reinvented every time a new client starts. The systems that exist entirely in your own head and nowhere else.

Sound familiar?

The good news is the solutions are also pretty consistent. Simple systems, a bit of structure and someone reliable working quietly behind the scenes makes a huge difference in almost every business I've worked with.
