The Return of the Florentine Lady - She was bought by a British lady (who loved all things Italian) in the 1980s from Florence. Her niece inherited the lamp and put it on Facebook Marketplace. I ended up buying it and bringing the lamp to its new home in Piedmont, Italy. At least the Florentine Lady is back home in Italy 🇮🇹

Summer festival in Rochetta nearby - Main Street closed off for wine, food, disco etc. There’s a different festival going on every week in different parts of the valley all through summer. The Italians work hard but they also know how to party hard!

Sharing some internal pics of the casa. If you fancy coming out there, we have 7 rooms available listed on Airbnb - I will look into linking the listing of all the 7 rooms to ease the search. Ideal for friends' groupie trip, hen's night, shopping at the nearby largest designer outlet in Europe (Serravalle Outlet), vineyard tour & lunch and needless to say dining - it's Italy after all!

Casa Borassi is situated in Val Borbera which is a tourist attraction for hikers, cyclists, bikers and yoga enthusiasts. There's a beautiful picnic site Bosco Piano and Bolleblu waterpark nearby. Nearest airport is Genoa, you can also fly into Milan (nearest amongst the 3 Milan airports is Milan Linate).
