Never judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, a frame by its capping. Generally the rule is that honey is ripe when the bees have fully capped it, as the moisture content will be around 18% or less. However, when you’re near to oil seed r**e, that kinda goes out of the window. This frame was 1/4 capped yet had a moisture content of 16%! So yes, it’s harvest time ☺️
