Today is International Baby Loss Awareness day. So, I wanted to share the story behind the 3 stars in my logo.

Our journey to growing our family was not an easy one. One round of fertility treatments, followed by three miscarriages. The four years before I finally held our miracle boy in my arms were the hardest I’ve ever experienced.

But it also taught me so much about a love that endured heartbreak, the power of dreams and the joy that comes in the morning.

For my two rainbows, I would go through every tear again, and for my three stars, my heart will always ache.

I share this not for sympathy, and to many it may feel like something over personal to share on a business page. Instead I share so that no one who follows me here every feels alone - my DMs are always open.

Hiyah. I’m Laura. I hand back hours of time, so female founders can actually scale their business. Like the founder who I handed 250 hours handed back across a whole year, from one automation I built for her.

Put simply, I’m the Monica of the friends group.

I’m basically obsessed with getting female founders back to the business they love. No more fire fighting. No more hours trawling their inbox. Just systems, structure and scale.

My north star is “you can have it all but, you can’t do it all”. And I think, particularly as women, there’s so much guilt around that. We feel like we should be able to do it all. But frankly, that’s crap. What you should be doing is the things that light you up. That thing you feel passionate about. The thing you started your whole business for in the first place.

And the rest of it? The inbox, the automations, the email marketing. Darling, there’s a reason a client called me their VA Fairy Godmother.

I’m ready to swoop in, get your inbox sorted, your spreadsheet blitzed, your automation built. Oh, and I’ll drop you a voice note to remind you the dog has a vet appointment today. No seriously, a client told me this week the only reason she remembered is because I put it on her daily schedule.

I don’t just “do admin”. I take a full look at your business, and build the strategy and systems to make it soar. One client went from spending half a day on her monthly newsletter to having it land in her subscribers’ inboxes without even touching it.

To really know me is to understand the journey that led me to start my business. And today feels like a good day to share it! Because, there’s a few new faces around here.

Let me take you back to just last December. Back then, I was drifting along. On the outside it looked fine, but inside I felt restless.

The turning point came when I thought a good friend had hired a PA, who wasn’t me. In that moment, I knew I couldn’t ignore the pull to create something different.

We’ve all had those moments, right? Maybe you’re experiencing something similar right now.

That’s when I decided to launch Ever North and see what happened. It felt utterly terrifying, but also, completely right.

Fast forward to now, and this month I welcomed four new clients. Ultimately, I look back with gratitude for all the people who have supported me along the way.

Out of office. On.

We are off on our family summer holiday tomorrow. 6 days in sunny Spain.

I am taking my laptop, and will be working a bit. But mostly I’m switching off, recharging and making some plans (I might even make a content plan!)

And, I’ve decided to delete Instagram and Facebook to avoid some scrolling and feeling like I should be posting.

So, see you on the other side my loves! When I’ll be 98% cava and pan con tomatoe.

July. The month I camped out in my client inboxes.

My biggest, busiest month so far.
6 months of Ever North and grateful for it all.

250+ emails sent for one client.
Hundreds more for other clients.

I’ve taken one inbox down from several thousand unread messages to just a couple of dozen to work through.

And got another enquiry inbox down from messages dating back to April, up to date to this month.

Plus, I saw one of my best friends for the first time in 10 years, I watched my little girl “graduate” from pre school, juggled two sports days, an assembly and a colour run. And managed my longest ever run. 18k ready for my half marathon in September.

There have been some sleepless nights. I’m learning I can’t just turn off my laptop and go to bed, because I’m too wired to sleep. There’s been some early starts, and a couple of wobbles along the way but I’m just so utterly grateful.

To my clients. Thank you, working with you is a dream.

Oh, and did I mention my biggest travel booking to date? Anyone else want a trip to Zante?

August looks to be another big month, with my brand refresh launching too (keep your eyes peeled) but first: sangria, sunshine and swimming pools!
