We seem to be on a run of projects coming to completion. Another snagging trip, this time to see the installation of new signs at in Basingstoke for Atrato Group and Supermarket Income REIT, which herald the launch of our new brand identity for the scheme.

We are very pleased with the brand continuity across the range of signs, with colours looking bright and fresh in the summer sun whilst striking a relationship with the natural environment which surrounds the development. Looking forward to seeing this one finished soon.

We are delighted to see this branding in place. The first piece from a wayfinding package for Timber Square - 365,00 sq ft workplace development in Southwark. An approach to placemaking for a building in an area with a rich workplace heritage and a high level of historical environmental graphics, layered as ghost signs, telling the story of the area’s past.

Having started on the project back in December 2020, what would appear to be a relatively simple application of graphics to a building, has taken much time and effort from many people to finally get to this point. Credit to Robert Hume for pushing this through (particularly the 11th hour name objection) and to for their coordination and support. Finally, thanks to (who provided the picture too) and their sub-contractor for their patience and response to our points of detail in their implementation of the original brand.

Looking forward to the completion of this stunning project later this year.

A big thank you to those that were able to join us last night for the inaugral ‘SIGN CHAT’ meet up. Also, extended thanks to the team at Ascot Signs for hosting the initial part of the evening before the discussions, catch-ups and general chit-chat continued in The Slaughtered Lamb.

‘Where is the next one going to be’ was the parting shot, so I take that to mean it was a successful venture and there is support to meet again. I will be giving that some thought but also open to ideas. Maybe meet in an area of London where some recent sign work has just been completed where we can walk and talk and then slip into a nearby pub? Any thoughts?
