Since a young age I have had a natural interest in health and wellbeing and now I am fortunate enough to be able to share my knowledge and assist others on their path to total health. My philosophy for optimal wellbeing is to begin healing and cleansing from the inside out through the mediums of nutrition, meditation, bodywork and yoga. Formerly a landscape designer and inspired by eastern philoso
phies and practices, I was drawn to south East Asia in 2007 where I discovered the countless benefits of a regular yoga practice, a plant based mainly raw food diet and receiving massage. I am currently writing a book about my experiences so far of becoming a mother and the misinformation we are presented with by mainstream health practitioners. I have a special interest in helping people with fatigue improve their quality of life through restorative yoga, metta meditation and yoga nidra. I diffuse DoTERRA oil blends during my classes to purify the air and create an ambiance specific to the type of class on offer. In 2010 I completed a 500hour teacher training and qualified as a yoga teacher under the instruction of Kate Pell in Brisbane, (Yoga Australia recognised and Yoga Alliance UK accredited). I also practice transcendental meditation and am qualified in Ayurvedic massage. My Hatha based style of teaching is intuitive and nurturing with clear and understandable instruction. I have also participated in training workshops with Simon Borg Olivier of Yoga Synergy (Sydney), Duncan Ewing of Yoga Arts Academy (Melbourne), 8 Limbs Ashtanga (Perth), Denise Payne (Yoga Barn, Ubud) and Yin and Yang Yoga with Simon Low. Internationally, I have taught private, group, studio and corporate classes in Australia, South Africa, Indonesia and England. I am based around the Bath area and offer one on one tuition, private group tuition and corporate classes in the convenience and privacy of ones home or office. I will create a bespoke class according to your requirements and can incorporate a combination of pranayama, yoga asana and guided meditation. All props/equipment is supplied. Beginner, Hatha, Vinyasa and restorative/Yin yoga and yoga nidra style classes offered.
