Thought I was just heading out for lunch with my daughter last week… and instead got the best surprise 🥹

My oldest bezzi who moved to Australia 2 years ago, turned up unexpectedly after us being friends since nursery.

Safe to say there were lots of tears (mainly from me), shock and laughter

Working full time and running a business can sometimes make you forget to slow down and appreciate moments like this, so today was a reminder that some friendships really do pick up exactly where they left off!

When did you last back up your work?

Be truthful!

This week I was walking up the stairs and my laptop fell out of my hands and went from the top to the bottom.

I stood there with my eyes shut, sh****ng myself.

Have I backed everything up?

Luckily, I lost 5-10 mins of work and that was it. Everything was there backed up to cloud!

Because while hardware can fail (or fly), your work doesn’t have to disappear with it. Cloud backups, external drives, auto-sync—whatever your system is, make sure you’ve got one.

Today could’ve been a disaster… but instead it’s just an expensive lesson with a slightly dramatic story.

I’m still in business but with a bent laptop and very angry with myself for being so clumsy. But it could’ve been worse.

I was off celebrating my eldest Son turning 18!
