A little change of pace for us with this job!
We absolutely love replacing boilers for heat pumps, but on this occasion space for the cylinder and heat pump was the deciding factor.
This job wasn’t for the faint hearted. 2.5 days of coring through solid stone and having to work on the weekend to make sure this lovely family had hot water and heating going into the winter months 🥶
We ditched the Old Danesmore standard boiler for a smaller more efficient condensing systems boiler….all pipework insulated and primary pro- smartovations Ltd used externally and even painted a stone colour to match.
(Sadly didn’t get a picture as daylight wasn’t on our side 😩😩😤)
All on an open vented cylinder system that will be converted in the coming years (due to renovation) to an unvented cylinder.
It was refreshing to do something different, but ultimately reminds us why we prefer heat pumps…this was proper graft! 😂😂
