Join us next Wednesday, 19 August, for our Providers Webinar, Dangers and Pitfalls of CoS Management, where we'll walk through where sponsors commonly go wrong, and practical ways to protect your allocation.

A landmark prosecution that every care provider should pay attention to.

This week, Ofsted secured its first successful criminal prosecution of an unregistered children’s home provider. The company and its directors were fined and disqualified after operating three unregistered homes despite repeated warnings from the regulator. (GOV.UK)

The message is clear:

⚠️ Compliance is no longer optional.
⚠️ Regulators are increasing enforcement.
⚠️ The cost of getting it wrong can be devastating—for the children in your care, your organisation, your reputation, and your future. (GOV.UK)

Ask yourself:

âś… Are your policies and procedures inspection-ready?
âś… Would your records withstand scrutiny from Ofsted, CQC or the Home Office?
âś… Is your leadership team confident they understand their legal responsibilities?
âś… Are you protecting your organisation before a crisis happens?

Don’t wait until you receive an enforcement notice or compliance visit.

Compliance Without Crisis

Join Rumbi & Muchada Bvunzawabaya for a practical, interactive session designed for care providers, directors, registered managers and senior leaders.

You’ll learn how to:
✔️ Navigate Ofsted, CQC and Home Office compliance requirements
✔️ Identify common compliance risks before regulators do
✔️ Build robust systems that protect your organisation
✔️ Grow your service with confidence and good governance

In light of the current environment and the increased scrutiny around sponsor licence compliance, we are pleased to resume our monthly Sponsor Licence Compliance Webinars for care providers and other sponsor licence holders.

These online Zoom sessions with live Q&A are designed to provide practical guidance to help organisations strengthen their compliance systems, avoid common mistakes, and protect their sponsor licences.

The first session will take place on:
Wednesday 8 April 2026
11:00am – 12:30pm
Topic: Reporting Duties That Save Your Licence
with Rumbidzai Bvunzawabaya

**Registration is required to join.

This session will cover the key reporting duties sponsors must comply with, the deadlines involved, and the most common errors that can place a sponsor licence at risk.

These sessions are aimed at directors, HR managers, compliance officers, and sponsor licence users who want to ensure their organisations remain compliant and prepared for UKVI scrutiny.

We seem to be going round in cycles of revocations and this is another wave.
Behind every revoked sponsor licence are real people: care workers who have built lives here, families facing sudden separation, and communities losing trusted carers. The human cost of these decisions is too often overlooked.
